New Kids Section in the Shop
Filed Under Kids Stuff, Shop Stuff, Wall decor, Wallpaper | 1 Comment
It gives me great joy to announce our precious new arrival to the world – our Kids & Babies section! It’s been a while in the offing but Mabel & Violet are very proud aunts indeed and can be found busily fussing over the little mite, oohing and aahing at every turn.
We currently have colourful wall stickers and wallpaper from the ever cool danish ferm LIVING KIDS range , moveable wall stickers from Australian brand Little Chipipi and the gorgeous A to Z Print from the wonderful Dublin design studio of Paper Bird.
This is just the beginning though, there are plenty more lovely products for little ones on the way so watch this space!

More about “recessorizing your home!”
Filed Under Affordable Interior Design, Recessorize, Wall decor, Wallpaper | 2 Comments
“Recessorize” is our very own term for re-decorating and accessorizing your home during these recessionary times in which we find ourselves. We say enough with the doom and gloom, it’s time to make ourselves feel better and the best way to do that is to surround yourself with beautiful things that you love and that instantly lift your mood. The good news is that you don’t have to spend a fortune (even if you’re lucky enough to have one!) to achieve an updated look. The key is to use items that you already have and mix and match them with some new ones or to make some small changes like wallpapering a wall or re-upholstering an old chair. Eclecticism is the new minimilism, so it’s time to inject some personality into your home!
Wallpaper can add texture, depth and warmth to a space but you needn’t limit it to walls. Wallpaper can also make a great addition to the surface of a coffee table, the front of a chest of drawers or even on a set of stairs, thanks to Shawna from Design in Dublin
Wallstickers and wall decals are also a really inexpensive, super quick and easy way to change the feel of a room and they can usually be removed in case you change your mind or want to take them with you when you move.
Kitchen cupboards can be updated with a lick of paint and some new doorknobs. In fact, adding new doorknobs to any piece of furniture will instantly and inexpensively update it.
